Inspect plant and equipment

1.1

Plant and equipment are inspected routinely in accordance with manufacturers' specifications, workplace procedures and regulatory requirements

Identified issues and damage are reported to relevant person/s in accordance with regulatory requirements and workplace procedures

Compliance plate on equipment and load chart plate on plant are checked to ensure they are legible and any issues are reported to relevant person/s in accordance with workplace procedures

Monitor and carry out basic maintenance to plant and equipment

Sundry items on plant and equipment are checked and defective items are rectified and reported as required to relevant person/s in accordance with workplace procedures

Plant and equipment requiring service or repair are identified and reported to relevant person/s in accordance with workplace procedures and manufacturers' specifications

Plant and equipment maintenance information is recorded in accordance with regulatory requirements and workplace procedures
